As a Lifetime Natural Bodybuilder and IFPA Pro Natural Bodybuilder I have been weight training for the past 25 years. I started weightlifting in 1986 during Physical Education class and from there I grew to love weightlifting. In 1990, I attended my first bodybuilding show, the Mr. Fremont Bodybuilding Championships and I was honored to witness well known natural bodybuilder Skip LaCour take home the title of Mr. Fremont. Former Mr. Universe, Ed Corney, was also the guest poser at that show and he was a motivating factor for me to enter the Mr. Fremont in 1993, which was my second competition. Watching arguably one of the greatest posers of all time in Ed Corney, I was inspired to model and perfect my posing style after him. Since 1993, I have competed in 29 contests and my journey has consisted of my own personal trial and error. By implementing a common sense approach to my contest preparation I have been able to maximize my potential with each successive competition. Now as part of the 3DMJ coaching staff it's my goal to assist others in bringing their absolute best physique to the contest stage by using the knowledge and valuable experience I have gained over the past 18 years and numerous contests I have participated in.
