RICHARD KNAPP, 43, Little Chute, Wisconsin, USA just started back training after a five year lay off. Before that lay off, Richard trained for roughly 7-8 years. Richard started out his career in the open division and now he competes in the wheelchair division. Richard's contest highlights include: 2004 - Great Lakes Pro-Qualifier 2nd place Open Light Weight Class 2003 - Great Lakes Por-Qualifier 3rd place Open Light Weight Class 2002 - Great Lakes Pro-Qualifier 2nd place Open Class Light Weight Class, Wisconsin State Championships 1st place Open Light Weight Class 2001 - Wisconsin State Championships 2nd Open Class Lightweight, Great Lakes Pro Qualifier 2nd Place Open Lightweight Class 2000 - Midwest Championships 1st Place Open Lightweight Class, Northeast Championships 1st Place Open Lightweight Class 1999 - Midwest Championships 3rd Place Novice Lightweight Class Richard's reason for training naturally, "I have M.S. and took up BB to fight it. Competing is just a fun benefit."
