The Natural Movement

Promoting 100% Natural Athletes

February 2011

Jeremy Greene-Taub, 22, Setauket, New York

3DMJ: How long have you been training?

Jeremy Greene-Taub: Very infrequently since high school, but seriously for 5 Months.

3DMJ: List your accomplishments as a natural athlete.

Jeremy Greene-Taub: 1st - Finished Smolov Jr. for chest, increased my one rep max by 25lbs.

2nd - Decided to compete in the upcoming NY INBF Hercules Championships.

3rd - Denied my friend's attempts to get me to take pro-hormones, and I wound up maintaining and developing more muscle mass than they did naturally. Even while sustaining some injuries.

3DMJ: What are your future goals/contests?

Jeremy Greene-Taub: I am seeking that pro card, hopefully in the 2013 season. My first amateur competition in in June of 2011, depending on my conditioning I may attempt to compete in the open. After this season, I plan on taking a 2 year super lean bulk to increase my chest and upper body size to be more in proportion to my lower body. I'd like to eventually stand on stage next to my good friend and coach Paul Kolbusz in a WNBF competition.

3DMJ: Describe why you have decided to train naturally.

Jeremy Greene-Taub: Well, Paul really got me in gear. I always was in and out of the gym but I never ate properly or worked out consistently. I saw his transformation, and the unbelievable potential that the human body has to attain shape and strength. Not to mention there are way more positive effects from natural training than becoming reliant on substances to boost performance, both mentally and physically. Ultimately people like the coaches of 3DMJ, Francisco Montealegre, Shaun Clarida, Paul Koblusz, Brett Freeman, and countless others are prime examples of the human potential. I need to show myself, my friends, and my family just how far one can soar on the wings of dedication.

3DMJ: Any other information or advice you would like to share with other natural athletes.

Jeremy Greene-Taub: Diet + Proper Training + Healthy Supplements = beast mode.

Don't ever stop or think for a second that a slow moment is the end. Beat the plateaus or like Alberto Nunez says, "work around them". I know all of us together can bring this sport back to what it should be and eliminate the stereotypes of "cosmetic athletes" being all brawn and no brain. Lastly, I started a crew called Meathead Nation, we are killing the stereotype of the "typical meathead". This is an all natural crew, placing an emphasis on the love of lifting, eating well, and doing it right.
