It is Week 26 and I have made good progress this week. I am sorry for the late update as I have been been extremely busy with home projects. I did not take photos this week but I will post photos in next weeks blog. As of Friday I weighed in at 158 lbs. I look really lean at this weight and I will aim to be around 156-158 lbs. at the show on July 18. Saturday morning I woke up feeling really drained and I was really light headed. I deciced to make Saturday a high carb day. I took in around 600 grams of carbs. I knew by doing this I would probably gain some water weight but I really needed to get some food in me. I did gain 5 lbs of water weight but I know it will take 2 days to get it off. By the end of this week coming up I will weigh around 157 lbs. Here is my plan of attack for Week 27.

Diet

Meal 1 - 3/4 cup oatmeal, 1 scoop whey protein
Meal 2 - same as Meal 1
Meal 3 - 4 oz ground turkey, 3/4 cup brown rice, 1 cup vegetable
Meal 4 - 1 cup shredded wheat, 1 scoop whey protein
Meal 5 - same as Meal 4
Meal 6 - same as Meal 3

Water Intake

I will start to drink 2-3 gallons of water per day to rid my body of excess fluids. The more water you drink the more you will get rid of. I have learned from past contests to not dehydrate yourself as it always leads to you holding more water.

Training

I will continue to train with as heavy weight as possible while maintaining great form. I have been training with a super slow rep speed for the past few weeks and I really get a great workout with this style. I will do 2 sets on most lifts but sometimes 3 on other exercises.

Cardio

I will continue with 60 minutes on the recumbent stationary bike at a pace of 17-18 miles per hour. I will probably make my last cardio session on the 14th or 15th.

Posing

I will start to practice my posing for about 15-20 minutes per day leading up to the show. I go through the mandatory poses for about 10-15 minutes and then go over my routine 2-3 times.  I will also listen to my posing music in the car on the way to and from work visualizing my routine in my head. This really helps me with remembering my posing routine when I am on stage.

With 12 more days to go I will make one last final push to be at my all time best shape! Win or lose, it will not matter because there is nothing more I can do to get any better. I have trained, dieted, and did my cardio 3DMUSCLE style and that is with nothing but 100% dedication -desire - discipine! Until my next blog, keep training hard and naturally!!
