It has been a couple of weeks since my last blog. I have been hard at work adding content to the site, promotion and many other things to get the site improving for better flow for the athletes. With the help of Team 3DMJ we are totally committed to improving the site and natural bodybuilding.

I am pleased to announce the addition of WNBF/PNBA Pro- Brad Loomis (a.k.a
Naturally Intense) to our coaching staff. He is a dedicated natural athlete who brings an immense amount of knowledge to natural bodybuilding preparation. Brad really knows how to bring that ultra conditioning to the stage. With his guidance I know he can truly help our team assist with other natural athletes to hit the stage in their best shape.

Our promotion for our sponsored athletes so far has been a major success. We have had a lot of athletes sign up and we are expecting many more to come. If you have not already signed up, check it out and apply.

As far as my training is going, it is going really good! I have added new movements to my arsenal. I have added, deadlifts, free weight squats and free weight bench press. I have not done deadlifts in about 5 years, free weight squats in about 9-10 years and free weight bench in about 9-10 years. I have been doing these lifts for two weeks now and I have made good progress with my strength. In my first deadlift session I was able to hit 315 for 5 reps for 3 sets, while tearing up my shins. Should have worn sweats instead of shorts! In my second session on Monday I was able to hit 325 for 5, 335 for 5, 345 for 5 and finish off with 355 for 5 and I still had plenty of room in the tank and I wore sweats!!

There are two reasons for adding these movements back into my training.

1. Thinking of doing a powerlifting meet in February of 2010. This is not for sure as I am thinking about it. I am not going there to win, but just have fun and be able to say I did the meet. I was motivated after Team Healthy Bodies competed this month in the memory of their fallen teammate Billy Funk.

2. Try and improve my physique for next years pro debut. I feel by adding the deadlifts and free weight squats I will be able to make big improvements in my back development.

I have continued with my higher volume training and I have been trying to increase the weight with each successive set. My strength and stamina have really improved and I will have to wait and see if the muscle development will follow. I have been really trying to use instinct with my training as of late, instead of following a program that is set in stone. If I can do more in a workout then I will do it. If I can't, then I will adjust that workout as necessary. To learn more on Instinctive Training follow this link

I have about 5 more weeks until my start of my 2010 Pro debut preparation. I am starting to prep at the beginning of January, so I will be enjoying myself the rest of the offseason. I have probably been eating a little too much, but I know when the time comes on January 2, 2010 it will be time to bring my best ever! I will definitely hit the stage better than ever!! This time around I will have Team 3DMJ on my side!! Until my next blog keep training hard and naturally!
