I came down with a damn cold right after my last workout on Tuesday. Knowing from my past experiences in training with a cold it only ends up making things worse, so I decided to play it safe and cease my cardio sessions the past few days. In doing so, I just lowered my carb intake to make up the difference. On regular days instead of 260 grams of carbs I lowered it down to 240 grams. I will re-adjust back to 260 starting on Sunday. I'm feeling much better now and ready to resume my normal training protocols.
Weight
Start Date - 12/06/10 - 206.5lbs
Goal Date – Whenever - Goal Weight – 160lbs
Current – 04/02/11 – 182.0lbs
*Note – I hit 180.6 on Friday 4/1/11, but it was a fluke weigh in. Today’s 182 is a much more accurate weigh in and it’s a real new low for me this prep.
Today’s Nutrition
150p/500c/40f
Cardio
So far this week just 4 hours of tough yard work.
Today – None scheduled
Friday/Saturday Weight Training – Legs Pt 1 & 2

Friday I hit Smith squats and then leg extensions pretty hard with a focus on slightly lower weights with higher rep ranges. After those two exercises I decided to stop right there and finish off the rest of the workout this morning. So, today I hit rack pulls, smith stiff legged deads, smith toe press and decline sit-ups.
Pt 1
Smith Squats - 275 x 10, 10
Leg Extensions – 180 x 15, 12 *positive failure
Pt 2
Rack Pulls – 440 x 5, 5 *4th week in a row of adding 5lbs to the bar and I still feel like I have more in the tank.
Smith Still Legged Deads – 315 x 10, 7 *on the second set once I hit 7...I was fried!
Smith Toe Press – 455 x 6, 475 x 6, 6 *Decided to go heavy on these.

Decline Sit-ups – BW x 10 + Rest Pause/Static Holds 2, 2, 1, 1, 1 *Rep tempo was super slow
*Training Note - This week coming up I might be going back to 3 workouts per week with an upper/lower split…we shall see.
