On Saturday September 25, 2010, INBF West Coast director and promoter Roy Perry once again put on a terrific show at the majestic Crest Theater in downtown Sacramento. Sacramento is not only the state’s capital, but is also proving to be the capital for natural bodybuilding in California. Nineteen well conditioned athletes graced the stage in what turned out to be a fantastic event. The women’s figure divisions highlighted outstanding physiques and the results are as follows: Open Figure Short

Allen displayed tremendous symmetry with good conditioning and very round muscle bellies. Chris Barnett placed a solid 2nd with a pleasing upper body and good conditioning. Marc Retamar rounded out the top 3 with a nice symmetrical physique. Marc returned to the stage this night after a 20+ year hiatus and also after losing over 100 pounds. Congratulations to Marc for a triumphant return! Middleweight Open Men
Left to right: Marc Retamar 3rd, Allen Bishop 1st & Chris Barnett 2nd Tony Quincy from Seattle, Washington took the light heavyweight title with a balanced physique. Tony is coming off of a great performance last month at the NANBF Washington State Championships where he placed 2nd in a stacked show. Tony had a terrific season and I am sure he will be back better than ever! Ken Stevenson placed second in his last outing of the year with a well balanced physique. Ken was coming off of a master’s class win in his last outing in Reno, Nevada. Light Heavy Weight Open Men
Left to right: Tony Quincy 1st & Kenneth Stevenson 2nd Another Washingtonian made his way to Sacramento with an incredible physique by the name of Benny Mobley. Benny wowed the audience with a rear lat spread that was simply awesome and an insane most muscular pose that earned him the heavyweight title. A charismatic Jake Ragsdale placed 2nd displaying a huge chest, bulging biceps and wide lats. Jake has a ton of muscle on his frame and if he can nail his conditioning he will be a force to be reckoned with in the future. Heavyweight Open Men
Left to right: Benny Mobley 1st & Jake Ragsdale 2nd The overall featured the open division winners and it was a hotly contested competition. Lightweight winner, Mike Milas was surely the leanest guy in the show and he held his own against much larger men. Middleweight winner, Allen Bishop displayed a physique that resembled that of a cartoon character with super full muscles. Light heavyweight winner, Tony Quincy used his symmetry as his weapon of choice in this phenomenal overall. Heavyweight winner, Benny Mobley posed hard displaying his best attributes to the fullest. In the end it was Allen Bishop’s Greek-like proportions that carried him to the 2010 INBF West Coast Overall title and earned him WNBF Pro status. Allen Bishop interviewed by our very own Eric Helms. I would like to give a special thank you to Promoter Roy Perry for promoting a great event for the athletes to showcase their hard work. Roy is working hard to bring INBF Natural Bodybuilding to California and next year’s contest season is sure to be a good year.
