TEAM 3DMJ Client, Robbie Sardinia wins the 2010 NGA Natural Mr. California and TEAM 3DMJ posing client, Luis Burgos follows just behind with a close 2nd place finish!

On June 12^th, 2010 TEAM 3DMJ was well represented with two pro caliber physiques at the NGA Natural Mr. California. Overall winner and new NGA pro – Robbie Sardinia (pictured below) took home the title of Natural Mr. California with a shredded physique. At 6’-2” and 192 lbs. Robbie brought an abundance of muscle, excellent symmetry and the best conditioning of the day which impressed the judges and an enthusiastic audience. This was Robbie’s first show ever and for that simple reason, winning the overall made it even more special for him. With just two posing lessons prior to the event, he demonstrated terrific skill and incredible poise for a first time competitor.

However, this was no easy victory, as newly crowned WNBF Pro and TEAM 3DMJ posing client; Luis Burgos battled Robbie for the heavyweight title.

After winning his first show ever a week earlier at the INBF Northern California Naturals, Luis Burgos brought a noticeably tighter physique to the stage. Luis packed plenty of muscle to his frame along with tremendous symmetry. Luis had superior stage presence and outstanding posing skills which he demonstrated in his artistic routine.

The battle between Luis and Robbie was epic as each athlete had their own strengths to present. It was a classic battle between apples and oranges. It came down to Robbie’s superior conditioning or Luis’ thickness and pleasing symmetry.

After a tough prejudging and night show the verdict came in from the judges and Robbie edged out Luis with a 5-2 vote. As good as this battle was, their comraderie and friendship won out in the end.

The overall came down to four top level athletes: lightweight & masters overall champ Mike Kelly (who earned his NGA Masters Pro Card that night), middleweight winner James Simmons, light heavyweight winner Vincenzo Coriloni (who just recently won the INBA Silver and Black and his PNBA Pro Card) and heavyweight winner , Robbie Sardinia. The overall was by far one of the best lineups this show has ever seen. All of the athletes were in top condition and it was a terrific exhibition of natural muscle.

After the judges ran the athletes through the mandatory poses and after a very exciting posedown, Robbie Sardinia was crowned as the new 2010 NGA Natural Mr. California.
